The OCCSC stands for Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre.
What it does is create business growth by helping match Chinese and other immigrants in Canada with appropriate jobs to their skillset and generally aids them through their first years in the country, making it a smoother transition.
Currently newcomers from 56 countries are using the OCCSC to help them get Canadian job training. We're all for it as we think this country runs on the power of diversity and variety. It is also extremely important in this day and age to be able to work in international teams. Name me one business that...
Missed a favourite muscial artists on David Letterman?
Check them out in the archives for the David Letterman show. With brilliant musical artists CBS.com webcasts the performances live and then archives them for later.
This allows people to watch the webcasts later if they were not able to stay up to watch David Letterman. All the performances are in a library people can access online!
When you land on the page names like Adele, Coldplay and the Shins all appear. Pretty nifty idea we think!

Sometimes people get a little angry.
Sometimes the customer services just isn't up to snuff.
If you feel this way you should write a letter about it. These people did and it is quite enjoyable. It's not run of the mill complaints. These are well though out and planned. Click here.
My favourite is this Abercrombie and Fitch Letter.
Just the best. haha.
Pieces of work.
Snapshots of a bigger production.
Each bit of the puzzle comes together to represent moments that occurred... long shoots or short ones with great audio and a ton editing.
Not all the talents are showcased in it but you know you're always growing..
But that's what new projects are for. New ideas, new shoot times, a fixed camera, mood lighting new characters, new plans to make the perfect piece of media. This isn't all of it. It's merely a beginning. And thank-you for those who are part of it. This is our demo reel.
The feeling: A mixture of happy, sad and overwhelmed all at the same time because it is only a week long.
For those of you who know what Camp Quality is you know the feeling I am talking about. For those that don't I highly recommend finding out more.
Few things in my life have made such a lasting impression on me like the impression Camp Quality has stamped onto my heart.
One of my favourite childhood memories was when I was with my Dad and we went on a nature walk. We went to a field and there was an abandoned drive in movie theatre surrounded by trees. I really wanted to go in and my Dad stayed...
Jack Layton inspired, ignited passion and was a man who holds a dear place in the hearts of many.
The Orange Crushing and a perfectly trimmed moustache are included in the great things about Jack.
He has left a party that is full of passionate people.
People don't often win hearts as easily as he did, they are not as passionate and driven, they don't stand up for what they believe in as much as they should, be he DID. This is what inspires me. This is the kind of person I want to be. I think this is the kind of person I know I wish I could be like.
A week of life...
Two of my favourite things are video production and working with children...
Imagine one week where all the while you get to laugh, play, sing, dance, run, jump and feel love surround you. Possibilities are endless, joy is never ending and you are surrounded by a whirlwind and caught up in a high you feel like you will never come down from.
That is what a week at Camp Quality is like. My friend Nate McNeil freelance worker for Videotelephony embarked on a weeklong journey of shooting, editing and fun.
When I first arrived I was nervous. Would anyone like me? Would they...
