Preamble
Many of us engaged in treaty negotiations depend on commitment, perseverance, and innovation to excel in our work. The purpose of this survey is to collect information that will determine the effectiveness of the new work method made possible by the newly introduced live data conferencing service. We are not attempting to evaluate the technology, but rather to determine the effectiveness of the new innovative work method. The success of new and innovative work methods depends on numerous and sometimes complex factors. With your help we hope to identify the factors that are helping in your work, and those that need some attention and improvement. The survey is being conducted jointly on behalf of the users and the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs to assist in the further development of innovative work methods. The survey should take no more than 5 - 10 minutes to complete. The report generated through this survey, additional interviews and analysis will be shared with all participants who have taken part in the survey. To obtain optimal survey results, we ask that you answer each question. If you happen to inadvertently miss a question, a pop-up screen will appear indicating that you did not answer the question and you will not be able to proceed until the question has been answered. Confidentiality - Since one of the survey objectives is to identify factors that need some attention and improvement, you may be contacted by the survey administrator to discuss specific work methods or influencing factors. You may rest assured that all reporting on the survey results will be presented as organizational roll-ups. Individual and/or work unit responses will not be identifiable. If you have any questions regarding this survey, please contact Maciek Kozlowski, at (613) 292-7512 or maciek@videotelephony.com.
