iCast is a webcasting success story bringing webcasting to the Government of Ontario. This Videotelephony service provides the infrastructure, equipment, hosting, and support for the Government of Ontario 65,000 employees, and program delivery partners.
iCast allows webcasting and recording of any presentation with audio, video, slides, screen sharing, text chat, and instantaneous publishing to the web. A fully hosted and managed solution iCast delivers many weekly webcasts. All the recordings are published and available for on-demand viewing.
iCast started as a proof of concept project and based on quality delivery and demand grew to a province wide service. Audio and video production of events is provided internally.
Webcasts to 10′s of thousands of users are possible.
